And here we are at last, the final day of 2017. And a very good year it was, at least for me. So many trips, new friends, new experiences and sooo many stories to tell. It may sound cheesy but I can definitely see how much I've grown this year and how I finally started taking care of myself. After all, I turned 20 this year, that basically means I'm a grown up now (but we all know I'll always remain a teenager at heart). So 2017., cheers, you were better than I hoped you would be, and thank you for teaching me how to be me!

As some of you may know, last year I shared with you my New Year's resolutions for 2017 (which you can read here) so I decided to do the same for this year. To be honest, no, I didn't succeed in all of them, but looking back now and realising how many I actually managed to do makes me so proud of myself. All I have to say for now is - Dear 2018., please be even better than 2017. was, and let me grow even more.

1. You do you boo
Never be afraid to be yourself & never care more what others think than what you think. Cut your hair if you want to, listen to the song that everyone hates but you love, and for goodness sake eat that cake. And that dress you like? You're gonna regret not buying it, so just do it.

2. Breathe
I know I always tend to freak out over meaningless things, overthink and just have way too much on my plate, which always makes me so stressed out, and that is not how I want to be in 2018. I just want to take everything slow, just enjoy the moments, relax, give things a second look and just blindly rush into them.

3. Fill that map with pins
This will be my New Year's resolution until the day that I die - travel more! This year has been amazing considering travels, I got to see Venice, Santorini, Barcelona and numerous places in Croatia, and thus the number of pins on the world map on my wall has been growing. And I just hope it will never stop.

4. Watch more movies
I love watching movies but I have this stupid switch in my head that it is smarter to watch 4 episodes in a row than to watch a movie. Which is stupid.. very stupid. Thus, this year I want to focus more on movies and a bit less on TV shows.

5. Focus on the important things
I need to learn to let go of everything that is temporary and just focus on myself, my studies & the things I love doing.

6. Finish the sketchbook
I wrote this one last year too, but I didn't succeed in it. So, fingers crossed for this year.

7. Organise your time better
Please! I need to stop wasting time on my phone and actually do something productive. At least, watch a movie that I wanted to watch for a few months, or start reading the book that I buy but never read. Or, you know, do something for Uni, that is always a smart idea.

8. Love love & only love
No hate in 2018., always be kind and do your best. Try not to hold grudges against people & stop constantly complaining. Be happy & love, that's it.

Aaand that would be it. My 8 resolutions that I hope will come true in 2018. Wish me luck. <3

After almost two months of my dear friend Donovan living in Zagreb, we finally agreed to shoot together! If you still haven't heard of it (shame on you) make sure you check out his blog & instagram,! He truly is a talent when it comes to these things, and I am so excited to show you what else we did!

The dress that I am wearing a white long dress which I got from Mango, and I love wearing it during autumn because it has long sleeves, and it looks good with almost any puffy or big piece of outerwear. The jacket however, is Donovan's. It's such a cool piece, considering it has all these pins on it!

In case you still haven't noticed, I have a new tattoo! And I decided that would be it for accessories that day haha. And the shoes, are of course, my Dr. Martens.

There are only a few things that make me feel happier than splurging on makeup for my birthday. And after a while, it's finally here! My ColourPop makeup review! Initially, I only wanted to buy their Yes, Please! palette, but if you spend more than a couple minutes on their site, you can not leave without having at least 3 things in your cart. Or in my case, 4.

The first thing that I ordered is this cute Quartz Priming Spray, which came packed in a box decorated with glitter (does it get any better than that?). The spray itself is quite small, but a little bit of it goes a long way. The one I have smells like cucumber water, and it also has dragon fruit, honey & pomegranate and orange flower extract, making it great for your skin.

The only thing that bothers me a bit is that the drops are rather big, so you have to spray it far from your face (or just replace the pump). I've already used it a few times & so far it is very good, it feels light on the skin and the makeup definitely stays on longer.

The next things I ordered are these two absolutely beautiful dual chrome eyeshadows in the shades Glass Bull & Tea Garden. Glass Bull is more of a silver-purple one, whereas Tea Garden is more of an golden-green one. So far I've only tried Glass Bull and I was amazed by how good it looked!

I ordered it with the box so it was a tad more expensive, but it's easier for me to use it that way. The pigment is really good, and of course better when you spray a bit of a fixation spray over the brush, so when I wore it out to a club, there were barely any creases when I got home.

And finally, the thing I was most excited for, their Yes, Please! palette! I had to wait for a bit before ordering it because it was out of stock, but as soon as they had it back I bought it. What I love most about it are the shades, as I am a big fan of red and gold eyeshadows, and this palette is a great mix of those colours.

For the packaging, I thought it was going to be bigger, but this way it is quite light and travel friendly, considering it doesn't have a mirror inside. The eyeshadows aren't big either, but the ones I've tried so far have been very pigmented, especially the yellow & burgundy one! The only thing I didn't like is that they have quite a lot of fall outs (as you can see on the palette). I am so excited to see how the rest turn out. I did a swatch as well (see pics below)with only spraying my arm with the priming spray I also bought, so you can see for yourself how they look on my extra pale skin.

And that would be it! So far I'm very satisfied with their products, their prices are budget friendly so almost everyone can afford their makeup. The eyeshadows that I've tried were very pigmented, and the priming spray did it's job well.

If you have any more questions or would like to see some looks that I created with them, feel free to message me or comment here, I always love seeing your feedback!
