Lying under three layers of blankets, I caught myself reminiscing about the sun and warmer weather. Don't get me wrong, I love autumn and rain and pretty sweaters, but there is something about those hazy late summer days that we all miss now and then.

As the seasons change, so does my closet and my wardrobe and due to that a major wardrobe change is coming, so let's have one last look at the last summer outfit of the year,

The centre of this outfit are definitely these super cute high waisted shorts I got at  Forever 21 and which because of their thick material are perfect for those early autumn days. The plaid print is so subtle and yet it looks amazing and is easy to style. The oversized shirt used to belong to my Grandma, but I just love how it falls over when you tuck it into something so I just had to have it.

When it comes to accessories, the black purse I am wearing is from H&M, it's half leather and half velvet, so simple yet chic. To match the gold in the zipper, I am wearing a big golden ring and a simple golden necklace with just a golden cube from Primark.

Days of watching Lost (which is amazing by the way, you should start watching it if you haven't, like really, start. now. ), drinking tea and hanging out are slowly fading away as school obligations are finding their way into my everyday life, and I can't say I'm happy about it. I am, again, obsessing over The Neighbourhood's new song "R.I.P. 2 My Youth" which I recently discovered, it is definitely my September sountrack.

Now that autumn has officially started and I am freezing under 4 layers of clothing, let's have a throwback a time when I could go out just wearing a shirt, ahh summer, kinda miss you, but I just love rain too much.

My Grandma's closet is one of the best places to find cute clothing, and this is exactly where I found this black vintage shirt, as well as the black leather handbag which I constantly wear, it is timeless and minimalistic so it can go with every outfit and color combo. The cute high waisted checkered skirt is from SheIn and I just love how it goes with this oversized shirt.

My short self loves wearing these cute leather shoes from Catwalk as I always feel taller and a bit superior when I'm making my way down the street, plus they go amazingly with the leather bag. The big mineral rings which are one of my biggest obsessions are from Primark and I decided to wear the blue ones to match the blue in my skirt's pattern. As a horoscope lover I often wear my Jupiter necklace, it is so simple and it looks good when I put it under my collar.

New post, new school year, new hair colour. Some people said it matched my eyes, most of them freaked about it, loved it, and Adela said it looked beachy (or bitchy, I'm not quite sure but I guess I'm fine with both).

As always, I dyed my hair at the WOX hair studio in Zagreb and so far it's one of my favorites hair colors so far, the ladies that work there are so lovely and it's just so nice being there and dying my hair in every color of the rainbow, I'm not sure whether they're more excited or I am. If you ever want to bleach and dye your hair I can wholeheartedly suggest these two amazing ladies at the WOX studio. Only love for them.

Someone should have told me that dying my hair turquoise would also mean becoming obsessed with Halsey's new album and Halsey herself {who also has blue hair}{are we meant to be or whaattt}.

What do you think about it? Do you like it or do you prefer other colors, and what color should I do next?

Being busy planning trips and organizing everything, I forgot about 11. August, my moonofpaula blog's one year anniversary. First of all, thank you. Thank you all for reading my blog, visiting it constantly and reaching 10000 views within a year, I could not be more grateful for all of the support you have given me and I just hope I will not disappoint in the future! More great things and outfits are coming and I just hope you're gonna be here with me! Thank you! ♥

The white cardigan with a pattern is perfect for this transitioning weather between summer and autumn, it is from Stradivarius and it is just great, very comfortable and it makes every outfit indie but also chic. The plain black shirt is also for Stradivarius, I wore (almost) all black to match it with the lines in the cardigan, and also because I just really love black. The black petite jeans are from Forever 21 and if you remember they weren't ripped before, but oh well, I have to be punk rock. They'll soon be the my go to jeans as the weather gets colder and colder and my clothes become darker again, because who wears colours during winter? Not even the nature.

The black leather bag is the newest one in the collection and first of its kind, I have never bought a bag like that, I usually stick with tote bags and backpacks. I bought it in Primark, as well as the necklaces which present my horoscope sign (and I'm a sucker for that kind of stuff). The simple rings, a big gold one and a half gold/half black one, are both from Claire's. The all black sneakers are Vans, ofcourse.

Gloomy days like these can only be made better by hanging out with your friends, especially the ones you haven't seen in over a month.  We went to this cute coffee house (which is actually most famous for it's Gin) in my neighbourhood called A Most Unusual Garden, and it really is an unusual garden. It is so original, they even have a treehouse in which you can go and have a drink. If you're around, make sure you come in because they will not disappoint.

The black Ouija shirt I am wearing is from Hot Topic, and even though it's a male fit I like how it looks, especially when matched with a short tube skirt from H&M which is also in black. To break the monotony I wore my red plaid shirt from H&M and died it around my waist for that grunge vibe, plus it wasn't cold enough to actually wear it.

The black leather backpack, which I'm always wearing, is from Primark and I literally go everywhere with it. The silver necklace I have on is one of my favourite pieces of jewelry, I got it at Forever 21 and it just makes every outfit pop. As the weather was rainy again, I wore my new black platform shoes by Catwalk, with which I am starting to fall in love with (I mean, who wouldn't, look at 'em!). To match the red of my shirt, I wore my red bracelet which I got as a gift from my Mom's friend from Vienna, it is a handmade piece and is just so subtle and yet gorgeous.

Even though I am an autumn child and a big lover of rain, rain in August is not welcome. I am supposed to be wearing shorts and eating ice cream, but no, I have to look like I just went to a wet shirt contest. But lets just thank God that Adela had an umbrella (this rhymes hah) and saved me from the rain when we met up for coffee (and by that I mean tea) yestrerday afternoon at Grič, one of the cutest cafes in Zagreb.

The shirt I'm wearing is a vintage piece which I found in my Grandma's closet a few years ago and just fell in love with, as well as the bag. It looks so good and is easy to style, weather you wanna wear it underneath a sweater or just so, like I am wearing it now. The high waisted jeans are from H&M and they're a total must have; not only do they look great and make your figure pop, they bring a grunge-vintage touch to every outfit.Because of the rain yesterday I decided to wear my new black leather shoes with a platform which I recently bought, the brand is called Catwalk and they were a catch!

I love how even though the whole outfit is monotone and there are no *real* colours, it seems vibrant because of the red lipstick I am wearing. It is one of my favourite lipsticks and my fav red one. The brand is called IQ Cosmetics and you can purchase it at Bipa.

When it comes to jewelry, the statement necklace is an old piece from H&M, I love wearing it with blouses because I just love the way it subtly shows underneath the collar. The rings with white rocks are from Primark and they're just a small part of my ever growing collection.
