If you've taken a walk recently, or at least looked outside your window, you could've noticed that a new season is here. And even though autumn is the season of nature slowly dying and everything fading, there are so many things to look forward to and some that are just starting, like a new year and semester at University. I am still not sure whether I'm excited about the latter, considering how hectic the last one was, but what I am excited about are all the cups of tea I get to sip now, either hidden under my blanket bingewatching some TV show or sitting in some cute coffee shop with my friends.

These days between summer and autumn are always confusing to me because I never truly know what weather to dress for. It's usually really cold in the mornings and evenings, but around noon you regret wearing more than one layer. What I always found to be the perfect thing to wear during these transitional days is a leather jacket, so last month I went on a quest of finding myself a new one because my old one was all worn out. After many hours spent scrolling through online shops & window shopping, I found my perfect one at Pull&Bear, a black leather jacket which is cropped at the waist, has a belt and a side zipper. Nothing too detailed, but detailed just enough.

In order to avoid a fight with my "all black" loving inside voice, I paired it with a minimalistic midi-length black dress from Zara, which with its wool blend mix and length is made for this type of weather. As it was one those coffee date in the morning, lectures in the afternoon type of days, I had my new Nike sack bag on, because I am always amazed at how many things fit inside it.

What makes this outfit stand out, and also quite noticeable (a friend of mine recognised me on the street only because I had them on), are these amazing sneakers that I got at ShoeBox. Lately, I've been obsessed with everything pink, and when I saw these holographic yellow-pink ones I just knew I had to have them. They make even the most boring outfit pop and they bring colour into this dulness that autumn is all about.

After a bit more than a month of no blogposts I caught myself just staring at my laptop unable to think of a proper introduction to this outfit post. Lately, everything has just been too busy for me to focus on the things that actually make me happy - blogging. And no, I won't make any excuses or try to say "but this is gonna change" because honestly, I can't promise anything. Sometimes, things just get in the way and sometimes I just want to lay in bed all day and binge watch shows and movies (also, I just watched Baby Driver - y a s !), and yes, that is a big flaw I have and one that I never hide.  I mean, it took me half an hour of scrolling through Instagram just to make myself write these last two sentences. So, if anyone has any advice on how to motivate yourself and stop procrastinating, hmu, I really need help.

In other news, definitely a better one, the weather for these last few days has been nothing but amazing, so I've just been wearing skirts and dresses. This super cute metallic one is from Mango and it's perfect for summer because it's so light and flowy. To tone it down a bit, I decided to wear my new black crop sweater from Romwe.

For the details of this look, tbh the most important part are these beautiful orange roses Irma got me, and I couldn't be happier about them, ty babe! Other than that, I am finally wearing these beautiful black sandals with pearl details which I got at ShoeBox. They are quite fancy but still kind of casual, and they look so good. The rings are a mix from here and there, and this cute leather backpack is from Mango.

This day is probably one of my favourite days of this year so far - morning spent having my hair done at Toni&Guy (check them out, they're amazing! <3), afternoon spent on a shoot and coffee with my dear Donovan & a concert in the evening. Kinda wishing every week had a day like this, sure did make me feel happy & special.

Honestly, I am in love with this outfit and I feel like it represents the style I always go for - vintage with a touch of alternative. The absolute statement piece of this outfit is my Grandma's old fur coat, which only is the warmest, but it's also the best looking piece of outerwear that I have. My shirt is just a basic black tee from H&M and this skirt is a (really good) thrift shop find! It used to be longer, but I had it shortened, and now I looove it.

This super cute white fake leather bag is from Mango and I love how complimentary it is with the pattern of the skirt. I am also wearing a choker from Pull&Bear, because no, I will not let chokers die & love how the look okay. The shoes are of course my fav Vans, which are perfect with basically any outfit.

During these cold winter months, most of the time I don't pay that much attention to how good my outfit is, but rather how cozy it is. And don't kill me, but I feel like that should be everyone's priority. You can't convince me that there is a better feeling than being all snuggled up in a sweater and basically feeling like you have a blanket on wherever you go.

Amid my recent trip to Scotland (which you can read about here) I managed to find probably the warmest and coziest item I currently have, this knitted beige cardigan. It is a bit oversized and just perfect for this type of weather, plus, as it is "basic" I can wear it with almost anything.

The skirt that I am wearing is a black one I got at Reserved, and what I like most about it is how soft and flowy it is, even though it is shaped like a pencil skirt. To keep this outfit simple, I wore my plain white crop top from Primark, as well as a black tote bag, a minimalistic golden necklace & my new Nikes.

Amid of my first couple weeks of Uni and endless hours spent watching House of Lies (if you don't watch it, you should, it's so good), I finally managed to find some time to go out with Irma and have a shoot. As summer is at it's end, it's time for us to crawl back into our sweaters and get our hot cups of tea, but not before I share with you my last summer(y) outfit.

What I love most about this outfit are these striped loose trousers which I recently bought at Stradivarius. They are super comfortable and such an easy accent piece. To keep this outfit minimalistic, I wore my simple black crop top from Pull&Bear and a vintage oversized cardigan over it.

For the accessories, I only wore my simple choker with a moon pendant from H&M, and, as always, my black Old School Vans.
